ABOUT

Scott Gerow is an independent producer, songwriter, composer, and engineer whose work spans artist development, film, television, and national advertising. With a background rooted equally in creative musicianship and technical skill, Scott holds a Music Degree from the New World School of the Arts conservatory, a Bachelor’s degree in Music Engineering from the University of Miami, a Postgraduate Fellowship in composition and arranging from the Vienna School of Music, and a Master’s degree in Composition for Contemporary Media from Middle Tennessee State University.

Scott has worked with artists across genres and generations, including Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Lopez, Crystal Gayle, Lady A, Carly Pearce, Kane Brown, Ingrid Andress, Maren Morris, Texas Hill, Devin Dawson, Dillon Carmichael, Dylan Scott, Cedric Dent (Take 6), members of the Charlie Daniels Band, and most recently Matteo Bocelli, JJ Heller, and Sarah Darling.

His music has appeared in dozens of major television series, feature films, and advertising campaigns. Credits include Bosch: Legacy, The Blacklist, CSI, Empire, Shameless, Ray Donovan, Homeland, Sons of Anarchy, Parenthood, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, NCIS: Los Angeles, and Designated Survivor, as well as feature films such as The Equalizer, Death Wish, Baywatch, McFarland, USA, Paranormal Activity, and Crazy, Stupid, Love as well as many others. Scott and his team most recently penned the national brand theme for IKEA USA.

Scott is the owner and manager of Battery Lane Music LLC, a production company specializing in artist and writer development, recording, mixing, and music production for film, television, and advertising.
